Build Back Better? I think not. Biden hasn’t built anything in his entire life, why should we expect him to be able to build anything now?
Some of the best opinions worthy of publication come from comments left on friends’ Facebook posts, and this one is a prime example. Read on:
Been saying this for years…
You want $15-20 an hour ?
This load of hay cost $640 last year it’s now $1020.3 Horse slant was $18k and is now $28k. 1 ton truck $72k is now $103k. Your beef was $1.99 pound and is now $5.88 a pound. Hay feeders were $320 and are now $580. 50 pounds of sweet feed was $12.50 and is now $22.00.
A house that cost $180k is now $290k. We need to remember that the additional cost of labor affects the consumer. Businesses cannot run in the red so that it can pay its employees more. That price increase is a direct increase to the consumer. Oh, and now your rent and utilities just doubled too. Because it’s costing more for those to operate as well.
Did you really receive a pay increase ? No you just increased what came in and what went out…
And now remember your taxes increased as you’re in a whole new tax bracket, and banks are now charging 7% interest on those higher amounts.
Who’s really profiting from the increase? Not the worker, and not the consumer.
Food for thought.
